He has been the co-owner of the New York restaurant since 2006. The only Swiss restaurant in this year’s list was 3-Michelin-starred Schauenstein run by Andreas Caminada, in Fürstenau in Graubunden.

24 Heures said the 40 year old Humm grew up in German-speaking Switzerland before training at Gérard Rabaey’s restaurant le Pont de Brent above Montreux in French-speaking Switzerland. He has been the co-owner of the New York restaurant since 2006.
The only Swiss restaurant in this year’s list was 3-Michelin-starred Schauenstein run by Andreas Caminada, in Fürstenau in Graubunden. In 2017, it came 72nd (there are 100 restaurants in the top 50). In 2016, it was 47th.
Anyone wishing to dine at Eleven Madison Park will need to book fast. The restaurant will be closed for renovation in June.
