Compared with March 2021, the price level of the whole range of domestic and imported products rose by 6.1%. These are the results from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO). The import price index also registered higher prices compared with February 2022, particularly for petroleum products. Furthermore, basic metals and semi-finished metal products, petroleum and natural gas, food products, motor vehicles and motor vehicle parts, textiles as well as leather and travel goods became more expensive. In contrast, falling prices were seen for pharmaceutical preparations and computers.
