Neuchâtel, 3 August 2018 (FSO) – The consumer price index (CPI) fell by 0.2% in July 2018 compared with the previous month, reaching 101.8 points (December 2015=100). Inflation was 1.2% compared with the same month of the previous year. These are the results from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO). The 0.2% drop compared with the previous month can be explained by several factors including falling prices for clothing and footwear due to seasonal sales. The prices of airfares also declined. In contrast, prices for dental services and berries increased. German Text: Die Konsumentenpreise sind im Juli um 0,2% gefallen
Neuchâtel, 3. August 2018 (BFS) – Der Landesindex der Konsumentenpreise (LIK) sank im Juli 2018 im Vergleich zum Vormonat um 0,2% und erreichte den Stand von 101,8 Punkten (Dezember 2015 = 100). Gegenüber dem Vorjahresmonat betrug die Teuerung 1,2%. Dies geht aus den Zahlen des Bundesamtes für Statistik (BFS) hervor.
Der Rückgang um 0,2% Prozent im Vergleich zum Vormonat ist auf verschiedene Faktoren zurückzuführen, unter anderem auf die im Rahmen des Ausverkaufs reduzierten Preise für Bekleidung und Schuhe. Auch die Preise für den Luftverkehr sind gesunken. Gestiegen sind hingegen die Preise für zahnärztliche Leistungen und für Beeren. |
