Searching for illegal drugs at Zurich Airport

More and more cocaine continues to enter Europe, and customs officials at Zurich Airport are among officials trying to curb the illegal trade. Swiss public television, SRF, spent the day with them to find out how they search for the addictive drug. In 2023, the Zurich cantonal police seized around 64kg of cocaine, 10kg of heroin, 566kg of khat, 64kg of marijuana and 20kg of hashish during checks on travellers at Zurich Airport. 35 people were arrested.
