Die Kinderschutzinitiative wurde im Oktober 2022 durch eine Reihe von Organisationen undEinzelpersonen lanciert. Die Sammelfrist geht nun dem Ende entgegen. Am 4. Mai wollen die Initianten die gesammelten Unterschriften einreichen. 6000 gültige Unterschriften sind gefordert, damit die Initiative dem Zürcher Stimmvolk zur Abstimmung vorgelegt werden kann.
