02.08.2019 – The consumer price index (CPI) fell by 0.5% in July 2019 compared with the previous month, reaching 102.1 points (December 2015 = 100). Inflation was 0.3% compared with the same month of the previous year. These are the results of the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).The decrease of 0.5% compared with the previous month can be explained by several factors including falling prices for clothing and footwear due to seasonal sales. The prices of international package holidays also declined, along with prices for air transport. In contrast, prices for heating oil and berries increased. Die Konsumentenpreise sind im Juli um 0,5% gefallenDer Landesindex der Konsumentenpreise (LIK) sank im Juli 2019 im Vergleich zum Vormonat um 0,5% und erreichte den Stand von 102,1 Punkten (Dezember 2015 = 100). Gegenüber dem entsprechenden Vorjahresmonat betrug die Teuerung 0,3%. Dies geht aus den Zahlen des Bundesamtes für Statistik (BFS) hervor. Der Rückgang um 0,5% im Vergleich zum Vormonat ist auf verschiedene Faktoren zurückzuführen, unter anderem auf die im Rahmen des Ausverkaufs reduzierten Preise für Bekleidung und Schuhe. Die Preise für Pauschalreisen ins Ausland sowie jene für den Luftverkehr sind ebenfalls gesunken. Gestiegen sind hingegen die Preise für Heizöl und für Beeren. |
