Unternehmen mit Sitz in der Schweiz haben 2023 erstmals seit 2018 wieder mehr Mittel in ihre ausländischen Tochterfirmen investiert, als sie abgezogen haben. Zuvor hatten sie jeweils netto Gelder aus dem Ausland zurückgezogen.

Die Bewertungen an den Aktien- und Anleihemärkten haben sich erholt. Die hat auch die von Asset Managern Verwalteten Vermögen in diesem Jahr weiter steigen lassen. Sie dürften inzwischen einen Rekordwert erreicht haben. In Europa konnte die Schweiz ihren Platz als drittgrösster Markt verteidigen.

Der Chipkonzern Broadcom rechnet mit einem starken Wachstum der Geschäfte rund um Künstliche Intelligenz (KI). Die hohe Marge soll nochmals verbessert werden.

Condé Nast Traveler hat in seiner «Gold List 2025» die besten Hotels und Resorts in Europa ausgezeichnet. Auch ein Schweizer Hotel hat es auf die Liste geschafft.

Die Handyladenkette Mobilezone hat vor allem wegen schlechterer Geschäfte in Deutschland eine Gewinnwarnung ausgesprochen. Die Dividende soll jedoch stabil bleiben. Trotzdem sackt die Aktie über 12 Prozent ab.

Wegen der schrumpfenden Nachfrage aus China und vor allem der USA sind die deutschen Exporte sind im Oktober so stark gefallen wie seit einem knappen Jahr nicht mehr. Sie fielen im Vergleich zum Vormonat um 2,8 Prozent auf 124,6 Milliarden Euro, wie das Statistische Bundesamt mitteilte.
