Die Jahresteuerung in der Schweiz ist im Juni leicht gesunken. Sie lag bei 1,3 Prozent nach 1,4 Prozent im Vormonat Mai, wie das Bundesamt für Statistik (BFS) mitteilte. Inlandgüter sind weiterhin deutlich teurer als vor einem Jahr, während Importgüter weiter klar billiger sind.

Die Experten von Swiss Life Asset Managers haben ihre Schweizer Konjunkturprognose für das laufende Jahr leicht nach oben angepasst. Für 2025 bleiben sie relativ pessimistisch.

Die Inflation im Euroraum ist im Juni leicht gesunken, die unterliegende Teuerung bleibt aber hartnäckig. Die Inflationsrate fiel von 2,6 Prozent im Mai auf 2,5 Prozent, wie das Statistikamt Eurostat in Luxemburg bekannt gab.

Die schwedische Notenbank belässt den Schlüsselzins bei 3,75 Prozent. Nun stellten die Währungshüter für die zweite Jahreshälfte zwei bis drei Zinssenkungen in Aussicht, falls der Inflationsausblick unverändert bleibe.

Die Schweizerische Nationalbank (SNB) senkt den Leitzins erneut. Er liegt nun bei 1,25 Prozent. Zudem sei die SNB weiter bereit, bei Bedarf am Devisenmarkt aktiv zu sein.

Die Inflation in Grossbritannien hat sich im Mai weiter abgeschwächt. Die Verbraucherpreise erhöhten sich auf Jahressicht um 2,0 Prozent, nach 2,3 Prozent im Vormonat, wie das Statistikamt ONS in London mitteilte. Analysten hatten im Schnitt damit gerechnet.

Der vom Bundesamt für Statistik berechnete Gesamtindex der Produzenten- und Importpreise sank im Mai 2024 verglichen mit April um 0,3 Prozent auf 107,2 Punkte. Im Vergleich zu Mai 2023 sank das Preisniveau um 1,8 Prozent.
