The most anticipated release of the week came in … “Unchanged” or sticky stuck from the August at 3.7% yoy. Die Teuerung in der Schweiz hat im September erstmals seit gut einem halben Jahr wieder leicht angezogen. Sie bewegt sich mit 1,7 Prozent weiterhin im Rahmen der von der Schweizerischen Nationalbank (SNB) angepeilten Bandbreite von 0 bis 2 Prozent.

Die Teuerung in Deutschland hält sich trotz eines erneuten Rückgangs hartnäckig über der Marke von sechs Prozent. Im August lagen die Verbraucherpreise um 6,1 Prozent über dem Niveau des Vorjahresmonats. Bei den Nahrungsmitteln steigen die Preise gleich 9 Prozent.
