Swiss Consumer Price Index in March 2017: Up +0.6 percent against 2016, +0.2 percent last month

The consumer price index (IPC) increased by 0.2% in March 2017 compared with the previous month, reaching 100.7 points (December 2015=100). Die Teuerung gegenüber dem Vorjahresmonat betrug 0,6 Prozent. Dies geht aus den Zahlen des Bundesamts für Statistik (BFS) hervor. Die Zunahme um 0,2 Prozent im Vergleich zum Vormonat ist vor allem auf die gestiegenen Preise für Pauschalreisen ins Ausland und für den Luftverkehr zurückzuführen. Nach dem Winterausverkauf in der Vorperiode stiegen auch die Preise im Bekleidungssektor wieder an. Die Preise für Gemüse sowie für Erdölprodukte sind hingegen gesunken.
