Die Swisscom expandiert in Italien mit einer Riesenübernahme. Der Schweizer Telekomkonzern will den Mobilfunkanbieter Vodafone Italia für 8 Milliarden Euro übernehmen und mit der eigenen Mailänder Breitbandtochter Fastweb zusammenlegen.

Die Swisscom hat Sunrise wegen eines Mobilfunk-Mitbenutzungsvertrags auf einen Schadenersatz von 90 Millionen Franken verklagt. Die Klage wurde bereits im Januar 2023 eingereicht, wie aus dem Geschäftsbericht des Sunrise-Mutterkonzerns Liberty Global hervorgeht.

Die Swisscom will in den nächsten Jahren insgesamt 50 Milliarden Franken Risikokapital für junge Schweizer Techfirmen auftreiben. Das wäre doppelt so viel Risikokapital wie heute.
