Die Migros Bank hat im ersten Halbjahr den Gewinn um 27,2% auf 165,6 Mio. Franken gesteigert. Treiber der positiven Entwicklung war vor allem die Zinswende, die eine deutlich höhere Zinsmarge zur Folge hatte. Auch fürs Gesamtjahr rechnet die Bank mit einer Ergebnissteigerung.

Die Migros Bank hat Peter Mock, bislang Leiter Tresorerie und Handel, per 1. September 2022 zum Leiter Risikomanagement und Finanzen (CRO und CFO) sowie Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung ernannt. Mock übernimmt die Nachfolge von Andreas Schindler, der sich, wie bereits mitgeteilt, entschlossen hat, eine neue Stelle ausserhalb der Bank anzutreten.

Die Migros Bank zahlt rund 37’000 Kundinnen und Kunden Retrozessionen auf Migros-Bank-Fonds im Umfang von ca. CHF 60 Mio. zurück. Damit bereinigt sie einen Fehler im Depotvertrag, in dem irrtümlich von rezessionsfreien Produkten die Rede war.

Die Migros Bank nimmt mit Markus Schawalder, Leiter Private Kunden und Geschäftsleitungsmitglied, Einsitz im Steuerungsausschuss Retail Banking der Schweizerischen Bankiervereinigung (SBVg).
